So many to choose from over the years, but I will share the latest. Here is what I had, loaded like new SC5m roller with all the best mods, sold for $220, mmmk? Slow start 6 pair of mounted SC tires also like new, sold for $48, sensored brushless combo sold for $60, and SC5m parts lot for $40. I paid over $800 even with coupon codes for this stuff, lightly used less than 1 season and total return after shipping charges and fees was $280. Ouch. Win some lose some, I guess, and no, tax time is not the best time of the year to sell R/C stuff, lesson learned.....These were all 7 day auctions with only a low $200 reserve on the roller. Fairly reasonable, I thought. I got worked over this time.

I usually try not to sell on ebay so I really don't have any experiences to share. One thing I was taught though it that auctions that end Sunday evening usually get more attention.

Had a mislabeled sale from a copy and paste of an amplifier (have a lot of them).

Dude was a douche even when it was clear it was used and not new, demanding A new one, blah blah or he'll report me, whatever.

Simply refunded him, keep the dang thing, I do >$10K deals and going to waste time on (I don't recall, 80-120?) this crap. Blocked. He's now out $0, in a legal terms, he has no standing (not harmed.) Pound Sand.

I rescue and refurb communications equipment, misc. electronics and test equipment on the side. A hustle I've been doing since high school for hobby/mad money rather than dipping into the bank account. Started with mostly tube radios and gear, now much more complicated stuff.

Sucks to read about such bad experiences. I guess I was lucky on ebay but I rarely ever use it nowadays.
