Default State of my vintage trx fleet

Long time no post, ive tried to stick to just one forum but im tired of that place so i decided its time to move on, i know that byt is pretty quiet these days but what the hey.

So anyhow, here is the current state of my vintage trx fleet.

My trx1 just had a major facelift, rebuilt the whole thing with many of the moving parts replaced outright. Still setup for dirt oval and still drop dead gorgeous.

Noteable list of new parts is decently long
•Rpm rod ends with ae ball studs, lunsford turnbuckles in between
•new rear shocks, ae bodys and shafts with kipps springs
    •********* 21.5 spec motor w/ reedy 410 blackbox esc
•new bearings, trying some cheap ebay dealieos
    •Titanium screws from protek
•MIP carbide diff balls with black plastic gear
•revised slash 4x4 rear hub carriers and n-rusty front steering blocks
    •STRC hinge pins
    •hard ano'd aluminum idler.
    •aluminum servo mounts

Most everything else is original to when i built the car 4 years ago, its been good to me so far so im hoping for another 4 years out of it.

    SRT graphite:

Still gathering parts but it doesnt need much, it hasnt seen any use in 2 years and not much before that either, for a time i had it as a offroad track basher but i never really applied my time to it like i should have. I stole the b4 slipper set out of it so now its back to the revo style slipper, internally it has plastic diff with steel top gear and idler. I want to swap over aluminum or titanium hardware and try to put another strc/b4 slipper in it but we'll see. If i can get the money i want to get one of those carbon fiber parts sets i see pop up on ebay frequently. Currently it has an mmpro and the d3.5 17.5 out of my trx1 and a hitec 7955tg to steer it.

    Some other noteable parts:

•rpm rod ends, technacraft turnbuckles, ae 4-40 ball studs
•rpm arms front and rear with rpm rear hub carriers as well
    •aluminum front servo mounts
    •MIP cvd's
•t4-body compatible rear shock tower (klavy made those years ago right?)
    •STRC hinge pins
•blue eagle 2 motor mount and guard.

    Sledgehammer puddle jumper:

this thing has, in some form or another, been kicking around for quite some time. Currently its got the xl5 electronics package with as much stainless steel as i can find. Using traxxas big bore shocks, slash rear arms and blue eagle ls front arms its a lot of fun around my apartment complex with this big ol traxxas stampede V tread tires. Chassis and trans are the black plastic versions with higher fiber content. Front bumper is a trashed traxxas fiero bumper that sorta just works. Ive hallowed out the battery tray to accomodate square lipos and added a radio plate between the servo and battery to fit a waterproof traxxas rx box. This car is, as always, a hodgepodge of parts both traxxas and otherwise. Wouldnt have it any other way either!

    Fiero beater:

Still the same old scrap parts car that i love to wail on. I rebuilt it last summer but its still got some work left, currently trying to track down some very specific tires for it. The thing runs well with the mods ive done. I fabbed an aluminum rear shock mount and my own front shock post and run a tc4 shock with kipps spring. Up front are bolink springs and about 4oz of lead weights. Ive also got a traxxas rustler rx box in the middle with the stock whip antenna. Electronics are also from the xl5 series and im running a rebuildable trinity 27t motor.

Its a "B" series car so i dont thing twice about beating on it and i do it in stride!

Took my trx1 down south to test and tune at southland speedway, works perfectly! It has a slight push even with pl hole shots up front but ill tackle that once i put a body on it and put it through a race or two.
