Default Difference Between Jato and Rustler

I am confused. One is obviously Nitro (although there was the Nitro Rustler). Do they both use the same parts?

No, a lot of the parts are different. A lot of guys use jato arms and carriers to a wide mod on a rustler. But most of the parts are different. Jatos arms are longer, towers are different, shocks are shorter, so on.

Thanks for the reply! Does anyone happen to know the amount of parts comonality between the Rustler and the Slash?

man. its easier to list differences. the slash has a longer chassis, nerf bars, bumper, different rx box, different wheels and tires, shorter rear arms and an added rear body mount (shared with the stampede).

most all of the wear parts are the same, front and rear clips are basically identical, hardware is shared on both. stampede and bandit are much the same story.

the jato and rustler share just about zero parts save for maybe an inconsequential screw or two.
