    Default spur gear question...

I have been toying with the idea of going from the 0.6 mod gears that my truck has to mod 1, I know that pinion is straight forward but the spur is another animal altogether... Is there any difference in the screw pattern on it, should I be able to just purchase one of my choosing and install it on center diff. or what? I just don't want to buy something that I can't use. Now that I am getting the truck fully up and running I want to give myself some adjustability ...

I have just used the speed calulator and came up with a 43/11 to get where I want.... right around 43 mph... if thats true then I am gonna be havin loads of fun....

Do you have a picture of the spur you can post? I'm not sure if all the center diff's use different spurs.

The one from hot racing is for a losi 8ight and 8ight-t... So its for a 1/8 scale

Now that I see them side by side... I don't think I'd be able to use that one... holes don't look like they match up..... uhhhhggg....

I have a losi 8ight spur gear sitting here, if you want to measure the distance between the holes on your spur I can measure the ones on my 8ight spur to see if it's close for you.

I just measured my spur and it's about 3/4" from center to center of the holes.

Well... I suppose that answers my question... I do believe there is a little difference in size... I guess I will have to wait to upgrade the center diff... Thanks boss man...
