Lol time for an upgrade John! Ive got a few I bash then I have a little collection I kinda dont wanna use. there hard to find parts for. lol

Thank you Chris? I do to. Only thing is i think i should have probably use some thinner carbon, the screws wouldn't bee too short now. lol At least its stronger now.

Its killing me waiting on parts... lol

Just a dermal with a cut off wheel. One of the re-enforced ones that come with most of them now. Hard part is drilling the holes. Had a use a couple different bits since I just have cheap ones. Last hole I had to drill the bit broke half way through... last one I had to.

Just tested with some foamies i had stashed away. the 2.2 trenchers i bought are going to be WAYYYY too big for this thing I'm afraid. I may end up using some rear buggy tires as long as i can fine some with some offset. BUT... it works GREAT!!!!! its like night and day with the new drive shaft. Now time to rebuild. Need to find the body to... somewhere.... lol

Ok started the rebuild. Couple little touched. Now just waiting on some more shock mounts, found a couple on ebay just need them to get here.
Tried to take pictures of most of the modded parts as much as I could. So here we go.

    Ok top to bottom:
Modded stock LST tower (shock mounts cut off new mounts drilled where molding dimple is, tops of body mounts also shaved off)
Mini 8ight mud guards (trimmed down on the inside and trimmed to fir the steering and ESC)
Modded stock rear bumper (trimmed bumper off so it acts more as a skid)
Mini 8ight center drive shaft (ends are slightly sanded down to make a little more room)
Mini 8ight steering (Stock LST uprights, LST turnbuckle for the center, Mini 8ight tir rods for the outers shorted)
Mini 8ight motor mount ( bottom is sanded down, about 1/16-3/32" taken off)

Modded mini 8ight drive cup (both are the same, backs sanded flat and down, the one pictured it also drilled out to fit the mini lst visions pinion)

Modded mini 8ight slipper shaft (slipper end, sanded down and shortened to allow mini 8ight shaft. pinion end sanded down and given the flat surfaces/key ways needed for the lst pinion then heated and pressed on)

All carbon sealed with CA on the edges and drying

Rear mounted up (the top plate I drilled out the holes a little large to allow the diff and motor mount to be able to set straight)

Front mounted up (center tie rod may be changed later on for more clearance)

Now were to the point where i had to stop. this is how it site, everything is ready to go just need shock mounts and a good set of wheels and tires. I need somethign small enough with at least half offset, any ideas there would help. I'm thinking some buggy rears, of something like i ran on my MERVs. We shall see, on with the pictures.

Let me know what you guys think.

It is trust me. It running now, just need my new wheels and tires, may just stick with the trenchers I ordered, looks kinda good with 2.2 wheels and tires. But it has no bite with anaconda tires... lol. Hopefully they show up this week. lol.
So far I have this one and my purple Muggy set up the same. all black, purple and carbon. Only thing I cant seem to find is my carbon fiber diff plates... I know i have some at home that arnt even opened yet... lol. But they will also be set up the same as for body and tires as well. Just need to figure out paint.
