Thread: servo problems.

    Question servo problems.

    Hi all.
    i'm new to this.
    I have atamiya Knight Hailer 1/14 scale.i am having a servo problem for the 3 speed trans,ission.
    when i left the back wheels up the wheels spin, when i set it on the floor it wont move.
    i don't know if i sync the radio and transmitter correctly.
    i have unplug the battiers in both truck and transmitter,
    the system i am using is a 4 - channel,FHSS by Futaba, 4YF-2.4GHz., and i also have the Tamiya Electronic speed control

    So the motor is spinning just fine with no load on it- does the motor sound like it's spinning when the truck is on the ground, but it just isn't moving? If that's the case then try shifting the gearbox manually/ by hand without the servo attached- there could be any number of stripped gears or the servo is indeed not engaging the gears fully- a different servo or inspection of the innards of the gearbox is required.

    Or does the motor not sin at all once the truck is on the ground- if that's the case, then it sounds like the motor or esc is toast / malfunctioning- a new/different motor will answer that question.
