Very easy to replace the diffs,but make sure the bearings get changed or you'll be doing it again when a bearing goes bad.It could just be a stick or something in the driveline.

Wow, I just happened to need to do the same thing lol I gotta tear the diffs apart due to (hey Beatn, make sure to tell Shadow bout this) MUD, in the center trans and diffs with no grease lol jus dry mud

make sure to shim the diffs while rebuilding
i agree with jimbo be sure to shim diffs when rebuilt or you will keep blowing through them like butter.

this thing is like new from the looks of it so i think i can just shim them???? i guess u can use ae shims? 21141 part number?

yup you can use any shim that will fit properly and give you the mesh you are looking for. ive used small washers before

Yeah, I couldn't agree more, Diffs on the MERV are Simple. Seconding the Shims, and Ceramic Bearings...
