    Default Stampers 4x4 + 3.2" Maxx/Truggy wheels and tyres = ?

I had this thought.... and am putting it past you guys. Has anyone tried upsizing their 4x4 pede to 3.2"? And if so, what was motor temps and durabilities like?

Just that I have this near mint set of Maxx Badlands on 50/50 split RPM Revolvers and I want a Pede 4x4....

Oh I did search, far, far too many replies to Stampede to get any sense from.

Well this is just my opinion but i would stay with the 2.8's. Because if "I" did the 3.2's i would be upgrading the servo, axles, and motor/ esc. But if you are going to do it i would suggest Castles 4 pole combo

Yeah, torque would be required. I was thinking my Castle 2650 on 2S would be good... the extra wheel size would pick up the lost kv's with torques to spare.

I know the diffs are Revo units, but you are right, MIP's would be needed (soon).

The % change in diameter of the 2.8" tire and 3.2" tire, so much % You need to change the pinion. Will be able to turn wheels to the end?

I think it would look kinda funny, the Slash 4x4 wheelbase would be better suited to those size tires. Thats the route I've considered more than a few times anyway, it would be like a light weight E-Maxx

Yeah, funny and E-Maxx Lite are both things that I have in mind. That coupled with a RJ Speed Cj7 Jeep body would be pretty awesome in my twisted mind.

Well, I'll have a Stampers soon, so I can at least eyeball them in mock up before I order the adapters.

I stretched 2.8 trenchers over 3.2 wheels so I could do a 17mm conversion on my pede 4x4
You think you know, but you have no idea.

I think it would be a cool setup if that truck was mainly just going to be for mud, snow, sand, etc. But for a usuall basher I would have to agree with some previous opinions. You would have to get steel cvd's, probably a different pinion and more torquey motor.
