April Photo Competition

Description of Theme- read carefully before posting:

Okay, so Chris has been giving out BYT stickies left, right & centre to competition winners, and loyal BYT fans have bought their own stickies too for plenty of years, to show their support for Chris & this great community/forum. Now it's time for everyone to show off their models proudly wearing BYT stickers.

Shots must be taken outside ( no living room, shed or garage shots etc, but indoor tracks are okay ), and can feature other vehicles, but your model must stand out & be at closest to the camera. The vehicle can be moving or stationary, but the photo must be quite clear and fairly close up so we can see what the model is ( just a really tight shot of the hood or tail isn't much use, nor is a dark spec in the distance ) & be able to see the stickies clearly. There are no problems with other stickers being present, though the BYT ones should stand-out in the photo as much as possible. Please check out Positronic's ongoing Photography guide which will help you to take better shots of your vehicle(s) if you aren't sure on the camera settings or how to get a good angle etc. I recommend reading it as there are some very simple tricks which will greatly improve your entry if you don't consider yourself much of a photographer.

Rules for entering contest

• - Photo must be of your vehicle (see judging for exceptions)
• - Photo can be of any type of R/C ground vehicle
• - Photos may not be photo-shopped. Color/Contrast adjustments & cropping are permitted, as are black & white photos
• - Largest side of photo must not exceed 800 pixels- 800x600 pixels is ideal / preferred.
• - If your photo wins, it will not be permitted in any future Photo Contests
• - Do not argue over or question the rules of the contest, as you will be flamed severely.
• - You are permitted to change your photo after posting, but must do so before the submission period ends; delete your previous entry by editing the post you put it in.
• - DO NOT POST MORE THAN ONE PHOTO, NO EXCEPTIONS.
• - DO NOT QUOTE PHOTOS OR POST PICTURES IF YOU ARE NOT ENTERING THE COMPETITION.

Judging:

• - My favourite 10 total photos will be picked from submissions in this thread on 04/24
• - Those top 10 photos will be posted in a poll thread for BYT members to vote on
• - Top 10 photos will be chosen based on clarity, composition and execution of theme.
• - Multiple vehicles in photo are permitted but subject vehicle must stand out in some way.
• - Photos of vehicles you no longer own are permitted, provided that you were the owner when the picture was taken.
• - Post all questions / concerns / complaints in this thread- judge's decision is final.

They have been ran a lot. I still have them, good tires to do stupid things with like donuts. But recently got some new shoes lol. I HAVE TRACTION!!!

So worn out Max tire's have no traction.. Maybe that's what my savage needs!! Thing gets WAY to much traction as is, 50mph wheelies is scarey when a 1:1 car is right behind

Haha nice. Its fun to sling the tmaxx around at 40 and not roll it but just slide lol. The sand around my house might help too.

Use photobucket. Upload the picture and then you will need to use the IMG Code. Copy and paste it in the reply box and post it. =]
