The truck handles great and the servo is a little slow which is great for a beginner. It jumps pretty good also. I changed the pinion gear and put a Traxxas battery plug on it. The tires hook up pertty good at the local track. I plan on racing it tomorrow in the stock class. After about 4-5 lipo packs all is good no problems. It drifts really good around the turns. I plan on running it like this for a little while and then adding the metal gears to the trans and going brushless.

This is right out of the box with only the 2 changes mentioned above. I'm impressed with the truck so far. At only $160 out the door.

It's called Electrix RC, or EXC. They are a newer brand.

At 'PedeVXL, they use the traxxas style shafts.

    1st heat 1st place
    2nd heat 2nd place
    3rd heat 2nd place
Main I started in 3rd. 1st place guy hit the pipe within the first 3'. I hit him and then someone hit me. This put me last but I quickly moved up through the field. I got as far as 2nd but I ended up 3rd.
Not bad for a box stock truck for only $160. There were Slash,Losi,Blitz and SC10 trucks in the stock class. So YES this truck can race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A little late to the party on this, but congrats on racing the truck so well. These have been selling well in my store. People like inexpensive but well built, and that is certainly what ECX products are.
