I built this nearly 2 yrs ago, was Beta testing the XL/HV V1 for Castle and had it paired with the 1717.
This ESC had no BEC and was 10s capable and was absolutley scary but fun as hell !

I like my T-Maxx. I put on Proline shocks, Lundsford Ti turnbuckles & hinge pins (maybe Traxxas?), aluminum chassis braces & skid plate, a Traxxas tuned pipe, Hitec steering servo, a servo saver kit (RPM?), used the stock steering servo on the throttle/brake, modified the clutch, RR slipper kit, and replaced a handful of broken parts with stock parts.

I love how it just takes a beating! It's limping home at the end of the video, but nothing a new bulk head, hinge pin, and an A-Arm couldn't fix!
