Didn't check this thread in a while but, everything is holding up great. Tires still have practically full tread even after running for about a week on some pretty rough asphalt. Motor runs cold.Today I took my motor out and i noticed that my car doesn't roll very smooth. I'm gonna try and asses the problem if take out the binding i should get back some lost top speed. Just gotta wait for the weather to warm up so i can lay down some paint. Hopefully I'll get the 1518 in it soon.

    Alright time for version 2.0.

    Improvements
Batteries moved more to the center
Mechanical brakes added (allows for brake bias)
    Diff's shimmed a bit looser
Geared up a bit higher (still got plenty of wheel spin authority)
Temporary truggy wing installed for stability.
    Revised steering setup
Revo Big Bores now have progressive shock piston
Camber increased in the rear to help with high speed turns.

In order to make this all happen i did have to remove the Bl setup from my "flux". But i should be picking up a MMM esc next month (hopefully).

I'll take it out for a spin tomorrow morning. Hope i can paint that body soon. BTW what do you guys use to make decals? My body came with no decals, not that I like the stock ones. I made an AutoCad file of the decals and need to find a way to print them.

Your diff gears right? The spur should be bullet proof.

Yea even with my heavy duty diffs i think i may have screwed up my rear diff. When the car is free rolling the front diff is completely silent, the rear diff however has this grinding noise. I took the sucker apart and i can't see any damage. I regreased it with some mobil 1 grease and it sounds quieter but i can still hear some grinding noise. I also think my pinion may be done.

I did another mod, I widened the car. Woww much more stable but unfortunately the tires won't fit under the body. I wish i could widen the body some more but it's already got a wide body kit on it, any wider and i think it'll look goofy.

I think i really need a camber gauge. My rear tires insides are more worn out than the outside wall.

Wow that sucks that your rear diff makes noise. Did you try shimming it?? For my camber angles. I just run it in my basement. The tires pick up any dust on the flor and make it really easy to see were th tire touches. You can also put a ruler flush with the lower part of the wheel and take a measure mention of the top part from the distance between ruler and rubber.

About that camber thats a really good idea. I'm clean up my tires and run it in the garage.

Yea i tried shimming the diffs. Worst come worst I'll drop in some savage flux BP diffs.
