    Default Diff locker

Just ordered this diff locker, I'll be removing the spider gears and installing the locker. I'll give any thing a try once. Anybody tried it out yet?

Don't expect to turn well. If they were so great they are cheap and would already be in your factory diff...........

I'm only installing in the rear. I'll comment on how and what the effects are if any.

With the locker in the rear your going to say ***. It will be more managable in the front.

    But try it

This is the install in pics, some what. I took it out on asphalt after the install and it hooks up a lot better, and turns better because if I lay into it when I turn it'll power slide. I wasn't able to spin the tires on the black top before, now it'll roast them. It's a thumbs up for me

on a 2wd slash it very well be nearly impossible to drive, but in a 4x4 slash it may prove to be helpful for a basher

Yup.. If your looking for more power to both wheels you might want to just look at something like a 50K weight diff fluid.

I was using 100k diff oil and it just wasn't enough for me,bashing of course. I'm going to stick with the locked rear end and 100k in front.

yea same with my 2wd but i didnt invest in the diff locker yet lol I just poured a bottle of super glue in there to try it out lol Ive got a spare diff if need be. I just got sick of it getting about half throttle and spinning out cuz one wheel was ballooning more than the others.

Just got back from local track and my Slash 4x4 performed like never before, took sharp corners better, and was able to give it more throttle on the straight away without it pulling to one side. I can really whip it around the corners now. It is totally different so that does mean relearning how to drive it.
