I really hope its a solid 4wd SC truck. I think if they did it right, it could be a really great truck from them.

The whole military airlift has me puzzled, but I think it is a 1/8 nitro buggy. They have Scott Hughes (Pro-Line Racing) and Paul Coleman (both big 1/8 scale racer dudes) on hand. They would make a great team for R&D on a new platform or a re-work of a current platform like the Hot Bodies D8, or Mantis mentioned above. Too much talent there in the racing gene pool to not turn out something racey, like in the most popular, best selling class, 1/8 scale buggy. Not like they don't already have engine and pipe combos waiting in the wings. The pieces are in place, all I'm sayin'.

Yea the whole military thing may or may not have anything to do with the new product. I don't know what to expect from a company that makes everything from nitro engines to scalers. Whatever it is I don't think it will cater to just a small crowd (like military replica R/C), it'll be something mainstream like maybe a scale delrin tube frame monster truck!!?? That would win in my book!

They havn't updated there comp crawler for awhile (since the artr)

since then theyve made new comp shocks, over/under driven axle gears, bta steering

im expecting a updated crawler to give the LCC a run

I bet it might be more than one vehicle / updated vehicle.

My guess is a SC truck of some kind, maybe a 2wd ST truck, or 1/8 Truggy or Buggy based off some Robotronics stuff.

Theres been rumors of an axial MOA comp rig for quite a while, that's one of my bets. The AXMA on the cargo container would lead me to believe they included a clue as to the motor (on) axle mystery. A comp 1.9 would also make sense. 1/8th buggy... maybe, but my bet would be on a brushless short course truck, even though they already have the engines ready for a buggy. It's just the buggy market is a little flooded and loyalties have been established already.

I assume the ax90017 on the side of the cargo container is a part number for at least one of the new releases, but google, yahoo, etc come up empty.

Interesting. I bet it'll be like something that Robitronic sells! Even an SC from them would be awesome, its Axial so its bound to be great!

Looks like Tower kinda leaked what one of the new rigs might be. It was pointed out in a thread that Geek made in the scale crawler area. Nick posted up a link for an RTR version of the Honcho.

Still curious as to what they come up with just want to see something new and something hopefully different. I know companies will most likely produce what they know has an establised market place, but man the same type of stuff gets boring.
