What do you lubricate on your brushless truck and with what??
I have been putting a little 3-in-one oil on a few spots like my cv joints. Is this recommended?
What are the proper lubrication points?

Mmm, lube...
Bearings and bushings wiuth a tiny drop of 3in1 is fine (thats what I do).
If you can get those rubber boots to go over the CV joints, you can stuff them with any kinda grease really (white lithium or tamiya cermamic etc) to keep the joints running smooth and reduce friction- without the boot the grease will tend to get flung off unless its really sticky automotive grease (that you ca use too).
Go easy on the 3in1 though, too much will attract dirt and wear bearing faster.
Its also a good idea to use the grease inside of trannies to reduce gear wear and noise- sticky stuff works best.
i like useing synthetic motor oil for most of my lubeing needs and i save the 3n1 for cleaning
I beat my truck like it owes me money

I avoid lithium compounds at all costs due to the fact that they dry up into a nasty filmy substance, instead I use Montana extreme gun grease, yup gun grease, on stuff like cvd joints, for the most part though lubrication and grease can cause more harm than without it due to its ability to attract dirt and debris, so pick your battles accordingly.
I use Tri-flow grease and low end bearing's and get a year or so of bashing out of them
