Default Best Brushed Motor For Your Buck??

I am building a rustler for a friend who is trying to do it on the cheap (I know this sport gets expensive) however, I am building this one with a brushed motor so he won't break as many parts (hopefully) Anyway, I am using a XL-5 Esc waterproof and want to know what the fastest brushed motor is out there that will work on the XL-5. Money is a factor, would like to stay in the $30-40 range if possible. He will be using 6 cell packs to start and will then go to a 7 cell pack. Is the titan 12T the best motor for the job or is there something better? I was looking at some of the other 12T motors on tower, but I just don't really know what all that stuff means Anyways, just let me know your opinions and I will go from there!

Here is one that I was kinda looking at

I have a Orion 17x2 in my rustler that I let people try out. It seems to be a little quicker than the 12t Titan.

Keep in mind the XL-5 has a 15 Turn motor limit in the 540 size. and a 12 Turn limit in the 550 size (Stock Titan 12T is a 550)

Yep, thats what I suggested to you above. I am also thinking of picking that motor up for my buddy's Rustler once we wear out the stock Stinger.

Well if it helps any at all. I used to race touring car many years ago. and I raced/sponsored with Reedy motors. All I can tell you is the Flash is one of the longest produced motors because of its design. But also the Ti, Kv, or Pt's are excellent motors if you can find them on ebay. As a matter a fact i just purchased a hand wound 55t from them for a crawler.
