This is more likely your tune than any wear. You can get even the most horribly worn out engine to fire and run so long as all the pieces are still together. Socalnitro had one with many gallons through it, no compression, it no longer even had the POP of an engine, sounded like a hoover vacuum when it ran.

I'd tear it down and check it out, looking for damage and wear. Clean it up if it looked ok and retune it from the ground up.

Sounds like it could be rich (and or low nitro contect/stale fuel)and the plug not hot enough as well, but no way of telling in text.

well i know its not tune cause ive retuned it from factorty settins about 3 times now, it may be fuel, i can try new fuel later, but i think might just order the trx 2.5r engine

"Factory" setting are just that...not running settings. you need to tune up every outting, even slight changes in tempature, altitude, even humidity or barometric pressure will throw your tune off.

Factory or breakin settings tend to be very rich.

Just send it to rayaracing.com to get it repinched for $20, you'll have a NEW engine!! I'm awaiting my sleeve and piston to comeback!!! I've heard GREAT things from them. One of the mags did a review on them and were very pleased with the results!!!

Pay attention to the play in the connecting rod where it sets on the crank pin.

and also the wrist pin or "samll" end IMO it's best to replace these after the first gallon of break-in/use

the only thing i dont like about repinching is that the chrome coating on the cylinder is worn down, so you may just have it flake off while driving it since it got so thin (personal experience). I prefer rebuilding the motor myself.

Sounds like a tune is off when you make adjustment make them in very small incriments also maybe try cleaning out your carb. And just my opinion but maybe bump up to 25% nitro and an os r5 plug
