i got a question.
u said that u used a 3D software. Which one did u use?
i am going to school to be an engineer, so i use a lot of the 3D software

I used 3Dsmax at my office, kinda pricey to own it my self.
If you want to learn, rather than spend several thousands dollar for just hobby use,
maybe I can suggest you to try the free one, blender.
But engineers use a lot more precision software than 3dsmax, like catia or autocad, since their built the final mock up from it.

if I can undo this, I would go with 6mm, a lot easier to bend for sure.

ya the software that i got on my computer is solidworks, also i do alot in autocad, and inventor at the college
i am taking alot of classes on these 3 and a few more hopefully

I've create a custom body to fit the roll cage, not finish yet only base body.



This is from cement, I should wear gloves before working with this stuff, guess what, my hands end up like desert.

I like what you have done, it looks great so far!

What did you use to form the mold and how do you use a vacuum to make the body? I would love to make my own bodies.

1/10 mini delrin dish about 42mm outer diameter 12mm. hex for sand tires.
Why not stock rim? I dont like pin drive on plastic rim, so hex all the way.

Sorry guys late to give updates, I used 30wt AE oil, too stiff and bouncy, just add more weight like bigger lipos.
I've 3x 1300mah 3s lipo and parallel wired for 3900mah capacity, weight about 300gr .

will post pictures tonight (our time zone).

I've run it on the beach last week, it blast to drive, just hate to clean after run.
run time very long, fully charged lipo @12.6v after about an hour hard running I check lipo voltage, guess what...it reads 11.7VOLTS!!!!!
not sure how long the run times to fully discharged, but I guess it can take 1.5 to 2 hours depend on driving style.

right now she have little bent on both rear axles and wheel hex, also front right axle a bit of after long high speed cart wheel at the beach, about 15-20m , I thought beach sand (pretty packed) can't do that, its titanium cvd afterall, now rear tires wobble like crazy..

by the way gpm titanium center output drive worn but its ok.

Thats no longer a mini t. Thats just a custom built truck using some mini t parts, and some delrin. Ever think about a big block 380?
