You still going to run a body on top? I always liked them cages too, but hate to have to cut out a body to fit. From my nitro truck experience, it usually causes an early death for the lexan bodies once you start cutting sections out. Of course, if you drive nicely that can be avoided
I did chop out a lot of material from my old black shell- you're right about it compromising the strength of the shell, no much material left around the body post mounts, and a big hole between them. More than likely I will end up running it without a shell in future once this one falls to bits.
Kind of crazy how hard the Gmaxx stuff is to find these days. I think them Centralemaxx boys must have bought it all up and are hoarding a stash. Neil, this thread still keeps the Maxx spark alive in us - I been eyeballing a bone stock mint condition 3906 Maxx lately...just for fun!
