I just picked up a set of Big Joes (Thanks, usafmoore67!) for my Flux HP, and after finally getting them on the truck, I noticed a grinding sound when accelerating and sometimes when turning and then noticed little cuts appearing in the tires. It's fairly clear that the body is hitting the tires when the suspension gets compressed and cutting into them. I tried raising the body mounts, but that doesn't fix much. Should I just try to trim the body or do I need a new one / something else?

Hey guys! I haven't been on here for a while. Got back from my first year of college - premed/health science is intense! Anyways decided to get a vehicle to race against my brothers' and dad's hyper 10TT's. Wanted to try something different so I bought a DEX410R.

Haven't done much RC since last summer so I might need some refreshing. Going to be quite challenging getting it fast enough on grass to compete with the hyper 10TTs. First thing I need help with is wheels. What's best for racing in grass?

Oh yes and I finally have a 1/1 scale car! Mazdaspeed 6 - tons of fun.

Thinking about TRYING to establish Credit and get a loan through the Teamsters Credit Union *yay for being union*
For a 2012 Honda CBR 600.
I tried to get pre-approved but Neither one of my parents have good enough credit to help me finance it through Honda :sick
Making 640-780 a month working at UPS I think I could afford to Finance a $11,500 bike for 5yr/60months
and pay a <400 Insurance bill every month.
I'd love to get a ZX6R like I've ALWAYS WANTED... and even though they are only $10,500 the insurance alone would be about $600 a month for me.:banghead:
since I have Two tickets. one that is about to disappear and another from October for doing UNDER the speed limit...that is showing up as speeding... my insurance is kinda.....not cheap

I'm thinking this over REALLY hard.
and also thinking of buying a used bike (through a dealer)
http://www.thecycleco.com/inventory.htm would be where I went since they seem to be the cheapest I can find (another place I went wanted more for bikes that had been laid down)

I kinda like the CBR they have. and insurance for it would be a little over $300 split up into 4 payments.:thumbsup
