I have been running BYT for close to 10 years now, and we have done a lot of good things to help people and help grow the RC hobby. It is so thin is does not seat well against the motor plate and does a poor job of keeping out the crud. The stocker also has a tough to remove adjustment plug (to access the slipper nut). The RPM cover is MUCH thicker and is what you would expect from RPM....it's TOUGH!

A temp gauge helps to make sure you are not accidentally running your engine too hot (lean). We opted for the on-board unit versus the heat gun as it was one less thing to carry into the field. Installation is simple and it works very well. It weighs almost nothing ...
