HoBao Hyper 10SC Project Truck

Running a medium sized web site like BYT can sometimes be a thankless job. You spend countless hours of your free time fixing problems, upgrading, adding new stuff etc. Once in a while, you get a few troublemakers, and some silly questions like “how do I login?”. **sigh** But overall, it is a very rewarding endeavor. There are lots of great, helpful and knowledgeable people that really make BYT the exceptional community it is. Once in a while, I get a big surprise and the receipt of a HoBao Hyper 10SC was nothing short of shocking.

A group of loyal BYT members got together and bought BYT a brand new Hyper! It’s days like that where I am reminded how lucky I am to be part of such a caring and thoughtful group of individuals. Please accept my sincere, “thank you” to everyone who came together to give BYT this uncalled for and much appreciated gift.

Looking at the majority of members here at beatyourtruck, we will notice that most of them are bashers (after all this is BEATyourtruck). So, you may be wondering, why in the world should we care about a speed tuning clutch? Only racers need to fine tune their machines down to the details of the clutch; us bashers can be lazy and use whatever springs we got laying around. Wrong! Oh my....what a beauty! This servo protector is from RC Raven. We were able to obtain a polished aluminum one however we have read that these are being replaced by their new brushed aluminum design. That's probably a good move as the polished version loses some of its beauty ...
